At Kris-Kras we offer the best service orientated last-mile solution for the fashion e-commerce industry. Kris-Kras’ software architecture is built as a multi-tenant Shipping Service Provider (SSP). Our software architecture covers all functionality for companies to integrate their order and supply-chain flows to ensure that the required information is available for KrisKras to deliver their packages successfully.
KrisKras’ event-driven architecture ensures rich process-monitoring. However, it also allows clients to track packages in real-time (from each step in the planning and delivery flow, up until the GPS coordinates of the delivering cars) and integrate their customer experiences on top of this data.
With the project still being young, there is still a lot of greenfield work to be done in additional logic, integrations, applications, and further development of the CI/CD pipeline. In addition, the software architecture is built in Java, but in the future, we would like to work towards other JVM-based languages such as Kotlin or Scala.

What do you bring?
- Around 5 years of experience in functional and object-oriented languages
- Knowledge of Java (8) and its newer functional syntax
- Knowledge of actor frameworks or comparable concurrency models
- Understanding of event-sourcing and CQRS
- Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of both SQL as NoSQL Databases
- Fluent in English and/or Dutch
